Lashone Links Business School in conjunction
with the National Directorate of Employment holds the fourth skill acquisition
exercise at Banquet Event Centre Agidingbi Ikeja on Monday 17th
November, 2014.
As an empowerment scheme to curb
the cankerworm of unemployment and a way to give back to the community; Lashone
business school a subsidiary of the Lashone Links Group Of Companies in conjunction
with the national directorate of employment holds another eventful skill
acquisition exercise with skilled and astute professionals from various fields
of expertise. The event was graced by dignitaries from the ministry of
education, Ministry of youth and sports duly represented by the permanent
secretary Mr segun oshinyimika, the National Directorate of Employment and the
media crew of different television and radio houses.
The event anchored by TVC’s Etoma
Edu featured heartfelt speeches from Dr. Lanre Shonekan the MD/CEO of the Lashone
Links Group Of Companies, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Youth,
Sports and Social Development, Dr. Segun Oshinyimika and the State Coordinator
of the National Directorate of Employment, Mr Joseph Mordi which all emphasized
on the importance of the skill acquisition exercise and the need for the youth
to embrace the empowerment scheme for futuristic purposes.
The occasion paved way for the
five day entrepreneurship training which precedes the three month internship
program in which participants will be posted to different professionals of the
skills of their choice.
The event was closed with the
first lecture on marketing given by Dr. Lanre Shonekan the managing director of
the Lashone Links Group of Companies; he also used the platform to lay emphasis
on the importance of other basic lectures and its relevance in their quest to
achieve success coming up on the subsequent days to come.
